
The Presidency reports on a meeting at the Presidential Palace regarding the start of the Dominican Republic’s country branding. The Center for Export and Investment (CEI-RD) heads the project. It is part of the National Development Strategy (END 2030).
Present for the meeting were Presidency Minsiter Gustavo Montalvo, Administrative Minister José Ramón Peralta, Economy Minister Juan Ariel Jiménez, Industry & Commerce Minister Nelson Toca Simó, Culture Minister Eduardo Selman, Tourism Minister Francisco Javier García and CEI-RD director, Marius de León.
De León said that the President received a detailed report on advances in building a country brand and the public-private synergies of the process. He said the country brand has been identified and socialized. The intent is to strengthen the perception of the country both abroad and domestically.
