President Danilo Medina met in Madrid with the President of the Spanish government, Pedro Sánchez. Medina was in Madrid to attend the Climate Change Summit. Sánchez had met with President Danilo Medina at the Presidential Palace in Santo Domingo on 29 January 2019. Medina arrived on Sunday, 1 December 2019 to Spain for the conference.
