18-year old Clauvid Daly from Punta Cana is representing the Dominican Republic in the 2019 Miss Universe pageant that is taking place 28 November to 8 December in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. The final show for the 68th edition of the beauty contest will be at 7pm on Sunday, 8 December. It will air on Fox TV and in Spanish on Telemundo live from the Tyler Perry Studios.
Fashion designer Leonel Lirio has prepared outfits for Miss Dominican Republic. Lirio outfitted Amelia Vega, when she won the pageant in 2003.
The hosts for the 68th edition are Catriona Gray (Miss Universe 2018) and comedian Nick Teplitz.
