
Merengue, salsa, bachata and urban bands are asking for fees ranging from RD$70 thousand to RD$1.5 million per performance, according to a report in Ensegundos.net on occasion of the peak orchestra-hiring season, the Christmas holidays.
The reporter journalist José Peguero lists many of the most prominent performers and explains that the amounts listed are subject to intermediaries and changes.
