It is now known that a Lexus SUV seized from Haitian consul Judith Exavier belonged to José Bernabé Quiterio (Nino), one of the supect members of the Cesar Emilio Peralta (El Abusador) drug trafficking network, according to a report in N Digital. As reported, Cesar El Abusador used the SUV to get around in the Dominican Republic.
As reported, Judith Exavier, the Haitian consul in Santiago, was arrested at the Jimaní/Malpasse crossing when about to cross the border to Haiti. Border military requested she present documents for the SUV. When she did not have these, they checked the vehicle chassis and determined it was sought by the US Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).
Bernabé Quiterio is in preventive custody at La Victoria Jail since 29 August 2019. He is accused of being an owner of several entertainment clubs that allegedly were used to launder the illicit earnings from the Cesar Emilio Peralta drug trafficking operation. Peralta himself was recently arrested in a joint US Marshals and Colombian Police operation in Cartagena, Colombia.
