Japan donates RD$13.1 million for education and water projects

The government of Japan will give more than RD$13.1 million to the Dominican Republic for the implementation of several programs. The donation will be delivered during a ceremony set for Wednesday, 11 December 2019 at the Embassy of Japan.

The projects are:
Construction of classrooms for the San José Salesian School -Instituto de las Hijas de María Auxiliadora in the National District valued at US$85,377.00, represented by Sister Aida María Mejía.

Construction of a Drinking Water Supply System in Jamao, municipality of Salcedo, valued at US$81,486, for Guakia Ambiente, represented by Michela Izzo.

Gully sanitation project valued at US$84,438, in the municipality of Azua, represented by Mayor Rafael Antonio Hidalgo Fernández.
