The Ministry of Foreign Relations says that as of 16 December 2019, Venezuelan nationals will need a visa to enter the Dominican Republic. Venezuelans who are holders of diplomatic or official passports and those who have a United States, Schengen, Canadian or United Kingdom visa can visit for tourism purposes, but still need to purchase a tourist card.
Other Venezuelan nationals must request a visa requests at a Dominican consulate.
