The 30-inch main pipeline of the Santiago Aqueduct and Sewerage Corporation (Coraasan) exploded early on Saturday, 28 December 2019 in the morning, causing considerable damage to several homes. As reported in Diario Libre, at about 5:30 am residents in the Bella Vista sector were surprised by the noise and flooding that affected their belongings.
