The Dominican Association of Exporters (Adoexpo) and the Consular Corps Accredited in the Dominican Republic (CC) signed an agreement to work together to strengthen relations and maximize export and trade opportunities with accredited and represented countries through career and honorary consuls.
The president of Adoexpo, Luis Concepción, and the dean of the Consular Corps, Clara Reid, signed the agreement in the Green Room of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Foreign Minister Miguel Vargas served as a witness of honor.
Concepción said that the agreement with Adoexpo will facilitate the participation and organization of trade missions and fairs in the countries represented by the members of the consular corps, and will make available information on demand and offers to facilitate.
Reid said the agreement will facilitate contacts of members of Adoexpo with investment and business promotion institutions abroad. The agreement calls for connecting Dominican exporters with chambers of commerce, business associations and other private and public entities in countries with which the Dominican Republic has diplomatic relations.
