The Ministry of Defense reported on Tuesday, 21 January 2020, that undocumented Haitians were apprehended when found traveling hidden by chicken boxes in a truck. The truck had unloaded its cargo of chickens at a farm near the Dajabón border market.
“More than 20 undocumented immigrants, the driver and the truck were taken to the Beller fortress in Dajabón and later sent to justice,” the institution posted on Twitter.
