President Danilo Medina attended the formal inauguration of the major expansion of Fresenius Kabi production site for medical devices in Haina, San Cristóbal. The 7,400-square-meter expansion adds new plasma kit assembly lines, injection molding equipment, sterilization units and dedicated warehouse space. The expansion is a total investment of more than US$25 million and is a third expansion of the company location in the Parque Industrial Itabo (PIISA) free zone park.
