Megan Logroño Rivera, the 15-year old only daughter of the captain of the Dominican national senior women’s volleyball team, Prisilla Rivera, died on 4 February 2020. The reasons were not shared in the note issued by the Dominican Volleyball Federation on the tragedy.
Rivera learned of the death of her daughter while abroad. She had been playing for the Hungary Professional Volleyball League. She arrived to Santo Domingo on Wednesday. The wake will be at the Funeraria Blandino of Av. Abraham Lincoln on Thursday.
