The National Competitiveness Council (CNC) and the Dominican Republic’s Shipping Association (ANRD) launched the new online platform “Navega RD” that provides updated information on shipping itineraries, frequency and routes connecting main ports. The portal includes a directory of shipper agency services, cargo agents and logistics. The portal was built at the cost of around RD$1,891,000, announced the CNC.
Rafael Paz, executive director of the National Competitiveness Council, forecast the platform is a valuable tool for the export, industrial and commercial sectors of the country.
