Cardinal Francisco Ozoria tells Roman Catholic Church parishioners to avoid the traditional hugs and kisses of the peace ceremony during mass, including holding hands when saying the Holy Father prayer. Likewise, Holy Communion will be placed into people’s hands, not mouths. The new measures are to reduce the risk of spreading viruses, including coronavirus. The measures are being taken by the church worldwide.
