
The Dominican Olympic Committee confirms tae kwon do athletes Katherine Rodríguez and Bernardo Pie qualified to compete in the Tokyo Olympics set for 24 July to 9 August. Both compete in the +67kg category. They won the right in the qualifier that took place in Costa Rica.
So far, 16 Dominican athletes have qualified to compete in the Tokyo Games. These include two in equestrian, the national women’s volleyball team and now two in tae kwon do.
