Emilio Butragueño, institutional relations director for the Real Madrid Foundation, was in La Romana for the formal inauguration of the inauguration of the Real Madrid Foundation Football School this week.
The program is open to boys and girls ages 7 to 17 years during the school year. Guests staying at the hotel or Casa de Campo residents and visitors will be able to participate in special morning training programs, too. Real Madrid built a FIFA-sized football field with high-quality turf, ideal for amateur or professional training.
The La Romana training school is directed by David González Sanz, a Level III certified technician. The program emphasizes values such as sportsmanship, winning spirit, excellence and quality of play.
