The agency reported the drugs had arrived on a Go-Fast type vessel that landed off the shore of Nigua. The DNCD reported that crew and another eight linked to the operation were arrested. These include six Dominicans, one Peruvian, four Colombians, all said to be members of an international drug-trafficking organization. The men were heavily armed.
