Ruling Dominican Liberation Party (PLD) presidential candidate Gonzalo Castillo announced RD$20 million of his campaign money will be allotted to cover the cost of Covid-19 tests, to purchase masks, gloves and medical equipment needed. He announced the essential items will be donated to several entities, including the Cruz Jiminián clinic in Santo Domingo.
Castillo continues to spend millions on online propaganda.
