
Vice President Margarita Cedeño called for Dominicans to vote for experience so that the social and economic impacts of the coronavirus outbreak be less. She said that once the country overcomes the health crisis, the nation needs to embark again on a path of progress.
She said that this world crisis should be seen as an opportunity to restructure the Dominican economy. She urged all who want to make donations to do so through the Ministry of Public Health. She urged Dominicans stay at home throughout the duration of the outbreak.
Cedeño is the running mate for Gonzalo Castillo, the two-term former Minister of Public Works, who is running on the ruling Dominican Liberation Party (PLD) ticket.
