The Dominican ambassador to the UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), Jose Antonio Rodríguez, composed a song, “When All is Over” (Cuando todo termine) to give hope in these days of Covid-19. In Paris, France, in an interview with Mariasela Alvarez for Esta Noche con Mariasela on Friday, he explained that there is optimism the disease will recede in France. “What happens in one country, happens in another, we have the same measures,” he explained. He said the crisis has united the people of France, and the French are taking it very seriously. He said he was motivated to write the song inspired by the medics, nurses and service staff that is risking their lives. “I wanted to be useful and started to write,” he said. “Time to leave speeches behind, solidarity is the only speech,” he said.
