The producers of Café Santo Domingo announced the Perelló Foundation will donate RD$30 million to the war on the coronavirus. The donation will be channeled through the Roman Catholic Church Baní Diocese and the Santo Domingo Archdiocese. The resources will be used to purchase medical supplies and protection equipment for the health care workers in the province of Peravia. It will also be purchased to purchase food for the people of the province. Monsignor Victor Masalles is entrusted to coordinate the distribution of the donation.
As of statistics included in Bulletin #19, the province of Peravia had 10 confirmed cases, including three new cases and its firth death.
