Cibao International Airport donates US$$1 million and 400 rapid tests to combat Covid-19
The board of directors of the Cibao International Airport authorized the donating of US$1 million to the government to combat the coronavirus in the Dominican Republic. The announcement was made by the president of the board, Felix Garcia Castellanos. The donation is for purchases of protective gear for healthcare workers. The donation would be delivered to Presidency Minister Gustavo Montalvo, who is the coordinator of the High Commission for the Prevention and Control of the Coronavirus.

García Castellanos also announced the donation of 400 rapid coronavirus detection tests, which will be administered by the Metropolitan Hospital of Santiago (HOMS) and the Regional University Hospital Presidente Estrella Ureña for the benefit of low-income people in the province of Santiago and surrounding areas.
