Culture Minister Eduardo Selman is recovering from Covid-19 at home. As reported, he is working from home. The Ministry of Culture had announced that as of 23 March all activities at the Ministry went into recess after the state of emergency was declared. The Ministry of Public Administration ordered the temporary closure of activities by way of Resolution #058-2020.
The Ministry of Culture says that the director of the Museum of Modern Art, Maria Elena Ditren, and the director-general of Fine Arts (Bellas Artes), Félix Germán, are processing requests of artists for financial relief.
