The Dominican peso was going for RD$56.30 to US$1 in operations at large commercial banks. The depreciation of the peso has accelerated in these coronavirus days. As reported in El Nacional, the RD$56.30 to US$1 rate was for small purchases of the US dollar. For larger purchases, the rate was higher.
