Media reports are that at least three persons were killed and four are injured in several traffic accidents this week in Samaná. A triple collision with three motorcycles drivers occurred at Km. 14 of the Arroyo Barril road. Sarapio Medina Altagracia is reported dead at the Leopoldo Pou Public Hospital in Samaná city. The injured are Juanes Javier Suárez, Elián Miguel Calcaño, Javier Arias Mejía and Juan Mato Isidro De Los Santos, who are hospitalized.
Samaná journalist Federico Rután reports that a Sonata car driven by Yancarlo Castillo impacted two people on board a small motorbike, who died when they were taken to the hospital. The dead are Andrés Abreu and an unnamed woman. Castillo is under arrest.
In another traffic accident, Tati Millo died after being hit while walking on Francisco del Rosario Sánchez, a Samaná city road. The driver is held in custody.
