Santiago’s main export industrial free zone is reopening 40 of the around 80 companies located in the industrial park. As reported, of the 22,000 employees, only 7,000 will continue. Of these several are apparel and tobacco-related companies. As reported, other companies are expected to ready their operations to restart within the new industrial protocols.
