Santiago Matias of Alofoke recently interviewed Vice President Margarita Cedeño, who is now fully dedicated to her campaign after taking a leave of absence from the director of the government’s most important relief programs. The Matias interviews are biographical and light, directed to a young audience.
During the interview, Matias asked the Vice President if she was single, who would she have a “corito” with. She practically said she has a crush on Chayanne, the Puerto Rican singer. “I would dance anything with him,” she said. (43:45 in the interview). Cedeño is married to three-time former President Leonel Fernández, who is running for a fourth term as President.
Cedeño has been readily available for the media, not so PLD presidential candidate Gonzalo Castillo. Alofoke had earlier interviewed Gonzalo Castillo, who has been all over social media with his spots and videos, yet not available for interviews with independent media.
