As of this Tuesday, 21 July 2020, the integrated mass transport system made up by the Santo Domingo Metro and Santo Domingo Skylift are operating with a new schedule. This is set for the 45-day National State of Emergency period, or until further announcement.
The Metro Office (Opret) announces the new hours for the Santo Domingo Metro are from 6am to 6pm, Monday through Friday; while Saturday and Sunday, the metro will operate from 6am to 4pm.
The cable car service will be available Monday to Friday from 6am to 6pm, Saturday from 6am to 4pm and Sunday from 8am to 4pm.
