
President-elect Luis Abinader tweeted Dario Castillo Lugo is his choice for Minister of Public Administration. He will replace Ramón Ventura Camejo.
Castillo has a long career in public administration. In the past he was the administrative manager at the State Enterprises Corporation (Corde) and administrator of the Dominican Cement Factory. These two entities were privatized during a past President Leonel Fernández administration.
He also served as director of the National Office of Administration and Personnel that was to become the today Ministry of Public Administration to where he is now named. He has also served as advisor to the Senate on administrative careers. He is a university professor and business consultant.
