Abinader cabinet: Mayra Jiménez, Francisco Camacho, Victor (Ito) Bisono

President-elect Luis Abinader tweeted over the weekend to name his choices for Minister of Women, the Minister of Sports, and the Minister of Industry and Commerce. These are:

Minister of Women: Mayra Jiménez
Jiménez is a lawyer, with a masters in economic regulations from the Pontifical Catholic University Madre y Maestra. She is member of the Economic and Social Council, a public-private advisory body. For years she has been active in consultations and consensus-building on social, economic, labor and gender issues. She replaces Janet Camilo.

Minister of Sports: Francisco Camacho
Francisco Camacho has been the president of the Taekwondo Federation since 2007. He is a 6th Dan Kukkiwon Black Belt. He is also part of the Dominican Olympic Committee COD), with close ties to the president of the COD, Luisín Mejía. He is a civil engineer. He will replace Danilo Diaz.

Minister of Industry & Commerce: Victor (Ito) Bisonó
Bisonó has been a deputy representing the 2nd circunscription of the National District since 2002 for the Social Christian Reformist Party. He replaces Nelson Toca Simó.
