President Juan Orlando Hernández of Honduras has confirmed he is coming to the inaugural of President-elect Luis Abinader on 16 August. Hernández is the only President of the Central American Integration System to confirm participation. The DR is a member of the bloc of nations.
The President of Haiti, Jovenel Moise has announced he is coming.
US Secretary of State Michael Pompeo will represent the US Government. Spain has said Foreign Minister Maria Aranzazu Gonzalez Laya will represent it.
