As the new government authorities dive deep into the Medina administration finances, colorful expressions are being used to be politically correct.
In an interview at the Listin Diario, Administrative Minister of the Presidency, 39-year old Jose Ignacio Paliza said government was a piñata for the past administration. He explained: “All went to government to beat the piñata and see what could be found when the piñata broke.” Paliza is a former senator and deputy, and is the president of the ruling Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM).
