The National Meteorological Office (Onamet) reports there will be cloudy skies and light rains Wednesday, especially in mountain areas and the southeastern part of the country. Late afternoon downpours with wind gusts are forecast. These will primarily affect Greater Santo Domingo, the Central Mountain Range and the border area with Haiti.
A tropical wave and a trough will bring more rainstorms and isolated wind gusts to locations in the northeast, southeast and the Central Mountain Range for Thursday.
