The Chamber of Deputies president convened those who aspire to be members of the Chamber of Accounts (CCRD) to apply. The members would be elected for the 2020-2024 term. The Chamber of Deputies would prepare the lists and the Senate would vote on these. The Abinader administration has protested the present members of the Chamber of Accounts are not carrying out their duties correctly and have been lax in their auditing fo the state.
