As is traditional, the US Embassy and the Dominican American Cultural Institute (ICDA) are hosting the follow up to the US elections. This year it will be online. The broadcast is from 7pm to 10pm. Amelia Deschamps is the host of the event streamed for Dominican audiences to follow the elections from a local perspective.
US Ambassador Robin S. Bernstein announced the event celebrates the democracy of the United States and the right to vote. She explained that 150 million Americans will vote for the United States president, 435 members of the House of Representatives, 35 senators, 11 state governors, and more than 5,000 state legislative seats.
