23 women and 17 men, ages 24 to 71, all hospital staff, tested positive for Covid-19 at the José María Cabral y Báez Hospital in Santiago. It is the largest public hospital in the Cibao region. The hospital confirmed all the employees were sent home to recover. Those infected work as secretaries, orderlies, military security agents, kitchen supervisors, security supervisors, and the billing department at the public hospital.
