Events are taking place on Friday, 6 November 2020 in the Dominican Republic to commemorate Constitution Day. For the occasion, President Luis Abinader and ministers met in San Cristóbal, where the constitution was signed on 6 November 1844. Abinader, Vice President Raquel Peña and Minister of the Presidency Lisandro Macarrulla presided over the ministers.
The Senate announced an extraordinary session at the auditorium of the Politecnico Loyola in San Cristobal.
Monday, 9 November is a holiday commemorating 176th anniversary of the Dominican constitution.
