The National Meteorological Office (Onamet) forecasts rains for Friday and the weekend. Onamet reports that a tropical wave will combine with the humidity in the air and cause scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms in the afternoon and early evening. Most downpours will affect the northeast, east, southeast and the Central Mountain Range.
The weather systems are also bringing pleasant temperatures, with lows of 22C in the cities and lower in mountain areas.
