The Ministry of Education has underway procurement processes to buy 940,000 laptops, tablets and netbooks. The Ministry expects to spend RD$15 billion to buy the devices to be distributed to pre-school, elementary, middle and high school students.
The Ministry says the winner of the tender will be announced on 16 December 2020. The procurement contracts will be signed in December.
