President Luis Abinader was in Puerto Plata on Sunday, 20 December 2020. He played the tourist at the Ocean World Adventure Park & Marina. Owner Stefan Meister hosted the President. At the park, tourists took their photos with the President. “Your presence honors us and renews our strength to continue working for a rapid recovery of the tourism industry and the country,” said Meister.
Ocean World Adventure Park & Marina is located in Cofresí, just 10 minutes from the city of Puerto Plata and is one of the main attractions of the northern coast. It promotes itself as having the largest man-built dolphin habitat and for its interactive programs that bring families together with marine species.
After the visit to Ocean World, the President attended the awards ceremony of the Puerto Plata Open – PGA Golf Tournament and the reopening of the Casa Colonial in Playa Dorada.
