America Economia Intelligence includes the Dr. Hugo Mendoza Pediatric Hospital in the National District in its top ranking of hospitals and clinics in Latin America. The list includes 63 hospitals. It is the first time that a hospital in the Dominican Republic is included. The hospital was built and funded by the government and is run by an independent board. The hospital reached the 59th position in the ranking of 63 clinics and hospitals.
