Sunday carnival parades are a February tradition in Dominican Republic. Due to the pandemic, the Santo Domingo and La Vega carnivals were suspended.
The organizers of the La Vega carnival (Ucavi) announced they too would be televising special programs on the carnival to keep up the enthusiasm for carnival among their fans. The programs would air on TV starting this Sunday, 7 February, continuing on 14, 21 and 28 February.
