Forensic report indicates Celea was thrown from an 8th floor

Andreea Celea / Diario Libre

The Second Collegiate Court of the National District has heard ten witnesses’ depositions, including that of the forensic doctor in the case on Wednesday, 10 February 2021. Dr. Glorimi Cambero described Celea’s death as one of violent homicide. She said it is evident there was an external force in the fall and that the victim presented fight and defense injuries. She said this rules out suicide. She said the young woman’s body showed signs of squeezing at the wrists, due to the force exerted there. She explained the body fell far from the place from where she was thrown and there were no fractures in the lower limbs.

She said that if it had been a suicide, the corpse would have fallen close to the place from where she was thrown and the body would have suffered worse injuries in the lower limbs. She said generally when a person is thrown over a cliff he/she falls standing up.
