
The Chamber of Deputies approved a bill received from the Senate that amends and creates new deputy ministry positions in the Abinader cabinet.
The legislators explain that the creation of the deputy ministry positions does not repeal, substitute, affect or alter the existence, nor the operation of the deputy ministries that created by other laws that regulate these ministries.
The Chamber of Deputies creates the deputy ministries of Fiscal Policy, Public Credit and Institutional Monitoring at the Ministry of Hacienda (Finance). At the Ministry of Economy, Planning and Development, the deputy ministries of Economic and Social Analysis, Territorial Planning and Regional Development and Productive Sectors are created.
The Executive Branch initiative also creates and adds deputy ministries in the ministries of Culture, Youth, Superior Education, Science and Technology, Tourism, Agriculture, Public Administration, Environment and Industry and Commerce.
