Keren Montero is the new winner of Dominicana’s Got Talent (DGT), the local version of the international reality show. She won the RD$3 million cash prize with Dominican audiences’ vote on Wednesday, 10 March 2021.
Montero was the first of the contestants to receive a Golden Buzzer during the second year of the reality show. Nashla Bogaert, one of the Dominican version of the reality show’s creators, pressed the buzzer during Montero’s first performance.
Montero lives in Los Mina in eastern Santo Domingo and sings at her evangelical church. She has never sung professionally.
The two runner-ups were singers Diego Jaar and Marteen Franko.
