Vice President Raquel Peña announced that the current 9pm to 5am curfew, Monday thru Friday, and 7pm to 5am on the weekends, is staying. The government wants to see the Covid-19 spread curve leveling out more. There is also a three-hour, “free transit” period when persons can circulate, or go home. The government needs to issue the replacement for Decree 133-21 that expires this Wednesday, 17 March. There had been speculation that the conditions might be relaxed even more, especially for nightclubs and bars and restaurants.
