Lot to fly 39 charters from Warsaw to Punta Cana and Puerto Plata

The Civil Aviation Board (JAC) authorized the Polish airline Lot to resume charter flights to and from Warsaw (Poland), via the international airports of Punta Cana (PUJ) and Gregorio Luperón in Puerto Plata (POP).

In offering the information, the president of the JAC, José Marte Piantini, said that Lot is the fifth most important airline of the European Union. He forecast the airline’s 39 authorized operations will transport 19,500 tourists to the country.

Warsaw flights were suspended in March 2020 when the pandemic hit.
