President Luis Abinader was present to announce that the National Technical Professional Training Institute (Infotep) is immersed in a National Consultation on the Future of Technical Professional Training. The government’s 40-year-old vocational training center wants to make sure the programs they carry out are in tune with Fourth Industrial Revolution companies’ needs.
President Abinader said that technical training is a priority in the country’s growth and development strategy.
The director of Infotep, Rafael Santos Badia, is motivating all sectors’ participation in the consultations that will take place during the next three months. The conclusions will be presented at a Grand National Congress on 29 and 30 June 2021.
