The Ministry of Defense began vaccinating of the military at 53 vaccination centers located in 31 provinces and the National District. The military are included in Phase I of the National Vaccination Plan. Members of the Army, Navy (Armada), Air Force and Police are now being vaccinated. The Ministry of Defense says the breakdown is: Army – 28,587; Air Force – 18,095 and Navy – 12,122.
Reports are that the military are being vaccinated with the newly arrived 50,000 Sinopharm vaccines donated by the Chinese government.
