Dominican businessman Eduardo Pellerano Nadal is suing former Minister of Hacienda Donald Guerrero for alledgedly taking advantage of his position in government to carry out maneuvers that divested him of his ownership of AutoGermana, the local dealership for BMW vehicles in Puerto Rico. Pellerano Nadal is also shareholder in AutoGermánica, the BMW dealership in the Dominican Republic.
As reported in Diario Libre, Pellerano Nadal presented the case against Guerrero in the Court of First Instance of Puerto Rico.
Pellerano Nadal asked the court to declare damages for breach of agreement and breach of contract, breach of the shareholders’ agreement and breach of the duty of fiduciary duty, and to order a nullity action for the fraud allegedly committed by the former high-ranking government official, according to the document filed on 18 March 2021 in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Guerrero is under investigation for corruption by the Attorney General in the Dominican Republc.
